Visiting the area to explore the beautiful Lake District, we enjoyed our stay overall but found some areas needing improvement. The location offered stunning views and easy access to local attractions like Bowness Bay, which we loved. The comfortable beds in our room were a highlight, although the decor felt a bit tired. Service had its ups and downs, with a couple of instances where we had to wait for basic items or assistance.

We had a fab time at this hotel! The room was spacious and cozy, and we enjoyed loads of tea/coffee and free cookies. Breakfast was awesome, especially with that lake view. The staff were super nice, always ready to help. Only wish the bar opened a bit earlier. Definitely worth the stay!

I also encountered a delay during check-in, which tested my patience a bit.
